Äh, perkele, noilla taidoilla äijällä pitäisi olla kyllä hommia jatkuvasti joten on kyllä vähän sääli ettei tahdo löytyä. Auttaisiko ulkomaille muutto mitään? Suomi kun taiteenarvostuksen kanssa on vähän "perähikiä". :/
This is awesome. Most of my early digital paintings were lost when photobucket erased my files. Damn, wish I had backups so I could sling one of these montages together btw, great alien shark raider, I voted for yours and was surprised you didn't get more votes. Also surprised I got any votes at all lol.
Hey, loving your painty style. And the dynamic comps. The path of the illustrator is open to you haha. I have also been through a not so great art school, and though I didn't quit, I also found that my greatest progress came after I was done with it. Except for the ones who are studying in like Gnomon of Feng Zhu schools with pro teachers, I keep seeing similar stories, heh.
Schools in Finland are incompetent and teach modern arts rather that how to draw sexy ladies and orcs. Also my classmates were mostly beginners so I had no one there to look up to and keep me motivated. Out of school time was more inspirational for me as I could follow better artists than me and keep on dreaming about the day getting to their level.
my current class mates are awesome and my school does as much possible to prepare us,
but we're all doing different things and going towards different markets that its hard for us to critique each other.
Just a few teachers can't possible keep up with all the markets an artist can go into. So after the basics like anatomy, painting, composition, ect, I feel that I don't have enough time to focus on what I want to do (plus all those general education classes take up so much time).
